I check my mail queues almost every other day. Just to make sure there’s no HUGE AMOUNT OF junk in them. So what I find is the following recipeint domains in my queue

• vweizon.net (2 count)
• eartnlink.net (1 count)

Hmmm WAIT A SEC these are just screwed up… AH HA! So I fixed them but noticed something the same person. So either fast fingers or coffe on the keyboard. Not the first time I’ve seen this from this person. Oh well…

Just started to play with it… VERY SLICK… and it just seems to work.. not splashy…. just works… would be nice to integrate a bit better with my contacts in gmail… but that’s trivial.. now to get it hooked up to Sunbird…

Yeah I’m having ads on my site why? BECAUSE I WANT MONEY! YEAH YOU HEARD ME…buy something… I’d put adsense stuff… when I get around to it…

Was working on my blog and found that the themes management was broke… NO THEMES were listed/displayed yeah weird.. upgraded and still funky… so I deleted EVERYTHING (’cept the database) and reinstalled and then pulled the old theme folder in… voila! works… but strange… hmmmm

I’ve decided to pad my blog LOL and put in some funny, thoughful pieces of Spam Lite up here… Spam lite is the stuff you get when you have someone who has your email address and sends you all the funny little jokes an the like to you…

So look here everyday for something new…

Google is now going after geocites and the like… an WYSIWYG editor using Ajax… Pretty spiffy… Yeah get ready INTERNET for MORE CRAPPY WEBSITES…  http://pages.google.com/

Speaking of which… Why is it that people on MySpace have to have pages that not only have BAD CSS… BAD Colors… but add sound and VIDEO… to them… Web design is like nuclear physics… you can do A LOT and the results can be devastating!

HTML CSS Javascript are like a hammer… you can build a house… or use it to make a statue…. or just SMASH SOMEONES SKULL IN….

Oh for the days of black times roman, blue links and NO ANIMATED GRAPHICS…

It just makes my job harder… because clients feel that because they can make a webpage in 3 seconds.  (The quality of which my 5yo can match) that building them a REAL website should be just as fast… its like the patient telling the surgeon gee could you hurry up I’ve got more important things to do…

Yes this is a rant.. but I get tired of people thinking my job is easy because they threw up (or vomited up) a few pages.  Plus they never get to see the elegance of a great site using Smarty or the way things can fall together when the backend design is so modular that additional features are a snap. Even my cow orkers don’t understand that stuff… oh well I guess being this smart has it’s drawbacks
